FOR THE
CHILDREN:
Choose Life

Life is such a precious thing with blessings all around.
Hearing all the noises ring is such a blessed sound,
Noises coming from the air, and noises on the ground:
Choose life!
Joy of laughing, reading, singing, dancing to a tune
Brings a heart to merriment like lily pads in June
Or brilliant beams of dimming light coming from the moon.
Choose life!
And when the toils of life are hard and bear upon the soul,
Each varied part of life experience seizes on the whole,
Comes together all for one and reaches for the goal.
Choose life!
Little ones in the womb are fighting to survive.
They lie with hope that helpful hands will bring them forth alive.
As apathetic doctors plan their premature demise,
Choose life!
Adolescents find their way to using common drugs.
They do this at their own free will despite our frequent hugs.
I say to them amidst their wrong, rebellion and their shrugs,
Choose life!
When death is haunting in the mind and makes our heart to
fear,
Life springs up and fights the cause and makes the purpose clear.
Then life calls out with certain sounds, the sweetest life can hear.
Choose life!
Only with life can we enjoy the finest things on earth.
Only with life can we enjoy the pleasures of new birth.
If you would like to be alive with wonder, joy and mirth,
Choose life!
Take hold of life and see the world with sunshine in your
face,
And thank the Lord every day for his amazing grace.
For grace has brought us where we are and takes us to His Place.
Choose life!
And when your life is over and you stand before the Lord,
And answer for your works in life determined from his Word,
You'll be secure in knowing now you did just what you heard:
"Choose life!"
Deut. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
