A picture from Lexington
Cemetery where Ronnie Wolfe and Shirley Maddox
visited while they were dating in the 1970's. We were married in
1972,
had three children, and were married very happily for 30 years.
Shirley passed to Heaven on May 21, 2003.

Approaching The End Of Year
By Ronnie Wolfe – November 25, 2006
Fast along the years fly
by, seasons with rapid change
Come in and out like popcorn popping quickly on the range.
Month by month the days pass by with ever gaining speed
As years accumulate my age like a slowly dying weed.
It seems so near, that
speeding end of a year I must concede,
A year in which I know the Lord has met my every need.
I look behind me thanking God that the year has gone so well.
I thank him that in years gone by He saved my soul from Hell.
This speeding year is
just a sign of the life that we now live,
The work we do, the things we learn, and the love and care we give.
We look behind us time and again, and we see what God has done;
We look ahead and see the crown of the victory He has won.
Fast approaching is the
end of life, and evermore we’ll be
In a place out there that has no years, a place of eternity.
Before the year of life has ended with no more years to come,
Be sure your trust is in the Lord and your eyes are fixed on home.
