Traveling this world no easy task.
Sometimes we think all hope is past.
Sometimes we wonder what lies ahead
Lying hopeless on our bed.

But when all hope has blown away
And we see the burdens of the day,
Then grace comes by and saves a soul,
Gives it light and makes it whole.

The grace of God gives comfort sure:
The word of God perfect and pure.
It takes the soul through one long day
Secures its hope all the way.

A great companion, this grace to me.
It saved my soul and set me free.
In blessed paths we walk so free:
These two things: God’s grace and me.
