This poem was written in memory of Betty Jean Saylor:

No Mist of Night nor Dew of Day
By Pastor Ronnie Wolfe – 6/11/2011

No mist of night nor dew of day
Can take eternal bliss away.

No more sharp pain to make me cry,
No longer ask the reason why.

No sin to make my heart repent
No tears because my heart is rent.

I’ll wipe no dust from the window sills,
Nor plant a rose or daffodils.

I’ll stay my hand from the dirty floor
And push the broom and mop no more.

I’ll take no clothes from the dryer bin
Nor mend the socks that are wearing thin.

I’ll speak no more of the work not done,
Nor hang the clothes in the morning sun.

For a sun much brighter shines, you see,
For the Son of God now shines on me.
