One thing I have on earth which I
Can never have in Heaven,
A rare and blessed privilege
Which He to me has given:

A chance to preach His wondrous Word,
To save a soul from dying.
(Hark, far off in the dark and cold
The little lambs are crying!)

A chance to win a starry crown,
Not for my own adorning—
A gift to lay at His dear feet
Some bright eternal morning!
